Nicolas Le Riche - eight years as Director for the Royal Swedish Ballet (Dansportalen interview, 7 July 2025)

I like this interview with Nicolas Le Riche — the great Paris Opera Ballet étoile who also guested around the world and, having retired, has been the director of the Royal Swedish Ballet for the last 8 years.

He’s just stood down, and this is something of a kindly and nicely done exit interview by Cristian Hillbom, the editor of Dansportalen. Le Riche comes across as a thoughtful gem of a director, and if he leaves dance, which is indicated in the interview, it will be a great loss.
